This photo is part of series of photographs of Pirin mountain.
The landscape shot is a winner of the photo contest “Rediscover Bulgaria” with the photo “King of the Heavens”.
The photos included in the contest were selected from among 1447 frames of 477 authors.

The world-famous musician personally presented the grand prize to the winner Ivan Hristov for “The King of Heavens”. The shot depicting Pirin was taken after a 5-hour night hike on the peaks. Luck and low clouds made the photo “volcano-like”.
Photo has been taken at Mount Kutelo and Vihren, Pirin, Bulgaria.
